  • DIY Kit Contents

The following items are included in the DIY kit

    2 x Side Arms | 2 x Round tubes (Foxy 60, 75 & 100), 3 x Round Tubes (Foxy 120) | Double Braided Nylon line

    Anchor Kit

    – 4 x SS Screws

    – 4 x SS M6x10 Bolts, 4 X SS Nyloc Nuts (Foxy 60, 75 & 100) | 6 x SS M6x10 Bolts, 6 X SS Nyloc Nuts (Foxy 120)

  • 1. Assemble Washline Frame

    Foxy 60, 75 & 100 Foldaway Washline

Insert round tubes into corners components and tighten them with nuts and bolts

Use: SS M6x10 Bolts & SS M6x10 Bolts

  • 1. Assemble Washline Frame

    Foxy 120 Foldaway Washline

Insert round tubes into corners components and tighten them with nuts and bolts

Use: SS M6x10 Bolts & SS M6x10 Bolts

  • 2. Secure RHS Round Base Socket to Wall

At a height suitable of approximately 1.8 m, drill and secure one Round Base Socket to the wall, at this stage, do not tighten. We recommend starting with the M5 drill bit, and if necessary drilling a second time with the M6 drill bit.

Use: 1 x SS screw, 1 x Nylon Fischer Plug

  • 3. Hang RHS

Locate the ball socket joint by popping it into the Round Base Socket and allowing the frame to sit at an angle.

  • 4. Mount LHS

Lift the washline frame to a level position and pencil mark the drilling point for the Round Base Socket. Drill and tighten the second Round Base Socket. Locate the LHS ball socket by popping it into the Round Base Socket. The frame should now be hanging in the folded down position. You can now tighten the RHS Round Base Socket

Use: 1 x SS screw, 1 x Nylon Fischer Plug

  • 5 Positioning Support Arms

Starting with either the LHS or the RHS, lift the washline into the up position, and mark the point on the wall where the support arms ( round tube with ball socket ), is in a level position. Drill and secure the round base socket to the wall, repeat for the opposite side.

  • 6 Line Up

From LHS, tie a knot around the line holder closest to the wall. Move to the opposite side and wind around 2 line holders, repeat the process by going back and forth until you reach the last line holder. Tie a loose knot to hold the current tension. Go back to the first line closest to the wall and pull each line down in the middle of the strand until you reach the last strand. Re-tie the knot.

  • Operating Instructions

    Foldaway Washing Line

When folded down, simply lift one side of the washline up and locate it into the ball joint. Repeat the same procedure on the opposite side. Your washline is now ready for use

To fold down, lift one side of the washline upwards, this will dislocate the ball joint from the round base socket – repeat the same on the opposite side.

  • Line Tensioning

After 5 – 10 days of use, the line will stretch. To re-tension follow step 6 above. Thereafter, pick up the line slack by winding the loose line around any one of the line holders which serves as tension points.

This completes the installation and maintenance of the Foxy Foldaway Washline
